You will be working in a multi-site team and expected to interface across multiple functions.What you will doDesign and implement embedded software for Linux based systems.Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in complex systems.Ability to carry a design task from concept to implementation.Ability to document engineering requirements, document solutions, and test new firmware designs.Working with cross functional teams to test and troubleshoot issues. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including Agile methodologySelf-motivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervisionWho you are and what you bringBachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded software development, with a strong focus on automotive or energy-related applications.Good experience with designing and implementing complex Linux based embedded and IoT systems.Good experience with developing Java based drivers and applications on the deviceGood experience with networking and communication protocols like OCPP, Modbus, mDNS, ARP Good understanding of embedded software architectures, operating systems (e.g., Linux, RTOS), and programming languages (e.g., C, C++).Nice to have experience with Golang programming language, OSGi for java component system, OSTree technology
