Grab's Identity (IAM) team, where you'll be at the forefront of crafting a top-tier registration, authentication, and authorization system tailored specifically for the dynamic Southeast Asian markets. Your work will empower both Grab services and external partner scenarios within the Grab ecosystem. The mission? To design and deliver robust authentication solutions that ensure secure user identity verification while prioritizing a seamless user experience across mobile, web, and voice platforms.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS), to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that millions of users rely on daily.

This role is onsite based in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will collaborate with teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and implement scalable solutions for our iOS applicationsYou will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Swift and modern iOS frameworksYou will design and implement new features while improving existing functionalityYou will conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practicesYou will troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performanceYou will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deploymentYou will ensure the reliability and stability of our iOS applications through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of professional iOS development experienceYou have proficiency in Swift and understanding of iOS SDKYou have expertise in modern iOS programming paradigms, including UIKit, RxSwift, and CombineIn-depth knowledge of iOS systems design and internalsProficiency in user behavior analysis, log collection, and analytics toolsYou have eExperience with software architecture patterns, caching mechanisms, data storage, and mobile security best practicesEYou have experience with version control systems GitYou gave familiarity with Agile development methodologiesYou have portfolio of published iOS apps in the App Store
