The Senior Developer role provides technical guidance to the Enterprise Salesforce community in the context of Salesforce Planned Releases and provides guidance during solution planning within the Enterprise Salesforce service.  The successful candidate has a deep understanding of Salesforce technical architecture and associated capabilities, cloud data models and solution patterns.

This role performs platform related administrative activities, tracks and assists with Health Checks and is on point for the Salesforce Platform Release Update process and impact to BMS solutions.  This role provides guidance to all product teams from platform perspective and participates in design sessions whenever needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Strong technical skills in Salesforce development, including Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.Experience in Salesforce integrations with external systems.Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA.Knowledge of data migration and data management tools and techniques, such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.Strong understanding of Salesforce security features and best practices, including role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health, and Marketing Clouds.Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce.Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.Requires thorough knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline and developed knowledge of other related disciplines, typically gained through a university degree and 5-8 years of experience. Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels.Participates in decision making and brings experiences and ideas to achieve team objectives. ​Identifies short-term and long-term development goals aligned with current capabilities.Looks to improve processes, structures, and knowledge across teams. Leads in analyzing current states, delivers strong recommendations, and able to actively assist to bring complex solutions to completion.​Evaluates complex issues through analytical thinking and previous experience to consider short and long-term implications and interdependencies and guides others when enough analysis has been completed in giving recommendations/solutions.​
