Title and Summary
Senior Software Engineer – iOS & Cross-Platform Mobile DevelopmentOverview:Prepaid Management Services is a division within MasterCard dedicated to delivering Prepaid Solutions, including our multi-Currency Cash Passport product. While it has traditionally served the travel industry, this business unit is now expanding the global reach of prepaid offerings through innovative, market-leading solutions in collaboration with major global brands. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in iOS mobile application development using Native (Swift/Objective-C), React Native, and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building high-quality, scalable mobile applications and have a solid understanding of mobile architecture and cross-platform development practices. Knowledge of the Android platform and its release process is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tDesign, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift/Objective-C, React Native, and Kotlin Multiplatform.
•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
•\tEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
•\tWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
•\tParticipate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
•\tWork closely with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
•\tOptimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
•\tStay up to date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•\tBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•\t5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
•\tStrong proficiency in iOS Native development (Swift/Objective-C).
•\tHands-on experience with React Native and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
•\tSolid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
•\tExperience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
•\tFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing frameworks.
Desirable:
•\tSDLC support tools (ALM, Confluence, Sharepoint)
•\tExperience using npm, and CSS
•\tCode packaging and publishing automation
•\tFinancial services experience (Cards/PCI)
Preferred/Nice to have Skills:
•\tBasic knowledge of Android platform architecture and development.
•\tExperience with the Android application release process (Play Store submission, signing, versioning).
•\tExposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
•\tKnowledge of performance tuning and memory management in mobile apps.
