Senior Software Engineer – Packaging R&D + **Location** København K, Denmark + **Job ID** 0000021968 + **Category** Digital & IT **Job Description** As aseniorsoftware engineer within the manufacturing domain, you will be part of making architectural decisions, developing software, and deploying technology throughout all manufacturing sites that support LEGO® production! **Core Responsibilities** + Develop,operate, andmaintainrobust and scalable solutions, used in factories all over the world. + Nurture andfacilitatea phenomenal engineering culture with focus on good craftmanship. + Explorenew technologiesand methods, finding opportunities for our platforms. + DevSecOps: “you build it - you own it” (and run it) with a keen eye on secure code and security by design. + Enable security and privacy by design in a non-blocking way, throughout the development cycle. + Mentoring other software engineers andhelplevel-up their understanding of application design and development. + You should expect sometravelto our production sites (maximum 4 times a year a week every time). **Play your part in our team succeeding** You’llbe part of a dynamic Software Engineering competence group within the global Manufacturing Technology domain, responsible for delivering innovative software and technology solutions to manufacturing sites worldwide. The team is organized into threesub teams.The current teamisworking on implementation ofsustainabilityagenda within packingProductionportfolio. While this is theinitialfocus, the scope across the full Packaging portfolio is flexible and updated quarterly, reflecting a dynamic and adaptable approach to our work. Collaboration, creativity, and an engaging workplace culture are at the heart of how weoperate, making this role ideal for someone eager to contribute to impactful projects and shape the future of our manufacturing processes. **Do you have what it takes?** + 3-5 yearsofexperience in software development and architecture. + Knowledge of cloud and the corresponding services and architecture design patterns, like event driven architectures and microservices. + Proficient in modern object-oriented programminglanguages,preferablyC# + Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and git-based source control. + Strive in building high qualityRESTAPIs. + Standout colleague and abilityto communicate andguide others. **Nice to have** + Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. + KnowledgeofOPC-UA architecture. + Experience with front-end framework, like React or Blazor. + Experience with Databricks or similardata processingplatforms. + Queuing and streaming data with Apache Pulsar. + Experience with AWS or Azure implementations.
