Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a **Senior Software Engineer** in Charlotte, NC.
**Job Role and Responsibility:**
Design & build reliable, scalable, data-driven distributed applications and services. Develop solutions in an agile/scrum development environment. Participate in code reviews, planning and estimation meetings. Participate in Cross-Discipline collaboration with team members including the product owners, designers, and testers. Analysis and in detail Solution Design for Enterprise grade applications. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

**Required Qualifications** :
**Degree required:** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related technical field.
**Amount and type of experience required:** 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation involving software engineering.
**Specific skills required:**
+ 4 years of experience in Talend Components (database, file, API, etc.), Context management, Deployment, Performance Tuning and Administration (setting up projects, using admin-console to configure jobs, etc.) to help build end to end ETL connection from client sources, staging data lake to solution DB/server;
+ 3 years of experience on Database: Object Oriented & Relational DB;
+ 3 years of experience working with Hadoop Ecosystem and Big data technologies like HDFS, Object Store, Hive, Kafka, & Spark;
+ Experience with SQL, PL/SQ and DB query languages and tools;
+ Experience with Linux and have ETL development, deployment and optimization experience using standard big data tools;
+ Experience with all aspects of Data profiling and data warehousing concepts;
+ Experience with root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problem and the resolution of complex problems.
+ Experience with different project development life cycle methodologies such as Waterfall Model, agile/scrum to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs; and
+ Experience with GitHub or other version control tools.
