As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, optimization, and scaling of our Java-based legacy application. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the application's performance, reliability, and scalability meet our high standards. Looking ahead, you will also be instrumental in our planned migration to cloud services, requiring a keen interest and experience in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance our Java-based legacy enterprise application.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Lead and participate in the future migration of the application to cloud platforms, including planning, execution, and optimization phases.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java.
Experience with legacy systems and understanding of the challenges involved in maintaining and upgrading such systems.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud migration strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Nice to Have:
Experience in re-engineering applications for cloud environments.
Certifications in Java and cloud technologies.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
