What You Will Get To Do:

Solution Lead Role

Provide technical or functional subject matter expertise to help design solutions for the TRAC platformProvide input during project intake meetings to generate high level project estimatesPropose project development scope and design solutions and provide more detailed project estimatesProvide guidance and subject matter expertise to help refine business requirementsHelp troubleshoot complex application issues and determine root causeAttended internal or external customer meetings to describe application functionality and help brainstorm solution optionsAssist Implementation Team with the rollout of new functionality on production systemsProvide technical assistance to Client Support to evaluate production support tickets when requestedMay perform design and code reviews for required projects

Role may also involve:

Support Product and Conversion Teams in sales callsProvide assistance to the Service Organization in implementation of new Policies and Procedures related to new system functionality

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of work-related experience; or Master’s degree and 2 years of work-related experience; or 6 years of equivalent work-related experienceDesigning, developing and maintaining SaaS applicationsWorking in an agile environment using ScrumA passion for continuous learning as well as the ability to learn quickly and apply new skillsFlexibility/Ability to be proactive, possesses good problem solving skills and the capability to find solutions and the ability to successfully meet deadlines

Technology

Java, JUnit, JPA, Spring Web/RESTful Services DevelopmentMicroservice DevelopmentJavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, Jasmine (or other Javascript unit testing frameworks)SQL and relational databases

Ideal candidate will have the following application experience:

Experience with SS&C TRAC application (https://www.ssctech.com/products/trac) or 5 plus years’ experience with a similar financial based applicationSenior level experience in a design or solution lead roleAbility to research application functionality and/or leverage subject matter experts to formulate high level design solutionsBased on solution designs, create high level estimates to feed the project pipeline for development teamsExperience with team leadership.Strong business and analytical skills.Ensure work assignments are clearly understood and completed by the deliverable date.Express ideas accurately and understandably in both verbal and written form.Ensure deliverables meet the highest standard of quality.Demonstrate initiative and dependability as a member of the team.Software Development Process, Software Requirements.
