We’re looking for a dynamic, agile, clean-code-loving, and highly-motivated developer to join the Human Capital Management team and help us develop amazing software that empowers our users.

We’re a family of 20+ geeks: Developers, Testers, Technical Writers, and Product Owners working with our counterparts from Canada, US, and Czech Republic.

Our team’s main focus is Oracle-NetSuite's SuitePeople offering. We apply our deep understanding of HR challenges to enable organizations to engage with their workforce and rapidly respond to changing business conditions. You'll build things people enjoy using and prevent them from going back to Excel to do their daily work. Your efforts will directly contribute to making things better for thousands of our customers.

Responsibilities

You'll work with other developers, testers, product managers and UX experts that care about their craft and what they deliver. As part of working on our Agile teams, you own your domain and you have a say on user experience and technical design. You'll be designing and implementing solutions that include database schemas, business logic, as well as some presentation layer work (there is a buzzword for it – full-stack developer). You'll be able to validate and certify peer engineers' work to achieve high-quality product. Your qualifications & skills

Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science or equivalent 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions 5+ years of experience with Java (C# or similar will also be considered) 5+ years of RDBMS database application experience (preferably Oracle or MS SQL) Knowledge of Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming Paradigm and SOLID principles Working understanding of modern web applications from database to browser Understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, and web browsers Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts Excellent cross-team collaboration skills Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence

Nice to have qualifications & skills

Experience in building user interfaces like Vue, React, or Oracle JET Software testing experience using various automation frameworks (e.g. JUnit) and tools (e.g Selenium) Experience in agile practices and methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) Experience in source version control systems (GIT preferable) Experience in continuous integration and deployment environment Experience coaching and mentoring at various levels of experience
