Senior Software Engineer

Software engineers are responsible for the complete life cycle of a new or modified software product, from research and design to implementation, training and support.

\n

Essential Duties: 

\n\nDesigns, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications supporting internal business requirements or external customers\nSupports and/or installs software applications, may include end user training and documentation\nDocuments and maintains software functionality including break/fix and continual improvement\nParticipates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software\nExecutes full life-cycle software development\nWrites well-designed, testable, efficient code for complex solutions\nUpdates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools and programming techniques\nParticipates in outside educational opportunities\nMentors Level I and II associates, facilitates associates on-boarding\nReviews other team members' code to ensure adherence to standards\nWorks under limited supervision\nRelies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals\nRecognized by peers as a disproportionate contributor\nMay provide consultation on projects and is considered to be a subject matter expert on technology\nInvolved in Level II on-call support\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n

Qualifications: 

\n\nMaster’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of equivalent experience\n5+ years’ experience in primary technology stack: .NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, SSIS, T-SQL\nDemonstrable experience in full stack web application software development – front end Web UI, middle tier service layer, and back end database\nExperience in Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools\nDemonstrable experience working with database technologies, able to write complex SQL statements to read, update, insert, and delete data\nExcellent knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, SQL, Web User Interface Design, Web Services, Object-Oriented Design, and Security Principles\n\n
