Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in understanding and analysing complex datasets. In this role, you will work closely with various teams, including Data Platform, ETL, Pulse, and Operations, to comprehend data and its lineage. This technical, hands-on delivery position demands strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail to organize, analyse, and interpret large datasets accurately.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyse and organize raw data, building robust data systems and pipelines.Collect and structure large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.Document and maintain business requirements using appropriate standards.Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.Generate reports using Power BI, with the ability to create accurate and performant DAX calculations.Design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines to support ongoing data analysis needs.Ensure alignment with US East Coast hours as per business requirements.

Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or similar background, MCA.7 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer.Strong background in Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Snowflake, ETL, and SQL Server.Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with complex views.Ability to understand and maintain data lineage across different systems.Minimal hands-on experience with building reports in Power BI, including proficiency with DAX functions.Sound understanding of data and data-related challenges. Experience working in Agile-Scrum methodology and adhering to best practices.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Microsoft Azure Ecosystem (Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory…) is a plus.Understanding Legal Tech Domain.
