Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.
We are looking for engineers to lead the development of the core components of the Cloud Data Warehouse that powers SQL analytics in Microsoft Fabric. You will work in areas related to query optimization, data sharing and replication, transactional storage and distributed query processing to build an elastic and scalable cloud DW to enable Tier1 enterprise workloads on data stored in Azure OneLake.
Your software will run at petabyte scale level, and requires careful design to meet the scalability and reliability challenges for operating at that scale. We are looking for passionate people with experience working with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services.
