Senior Software EngineerOverviewDynamic Yield by MasterCard is seeking a dynamic DevOps Engineer who embodies agility and serves as the crucial link between development and deployment. This role requires a blend of engineering thinking and operational expertise, focusing on delivering quality products and timely release cycles. We're looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with DevOps experience who prioritizes customer needs, enhances deployment frequency, and aligns closely with business objectives. The goal is to streamline the process from code commits to production launches while maintaining the highest quality standards
Role:
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using code, configuration, build, deploy, and monitoring tools
• Work closely with Lead developers in design and supporting new features, services and troubleshoot
• Troubleshoot large applications – You need to know what to do when something complex breaks down
• Build Wrapper services to interact will all the devops tools stack
• Implement Migration utilities to migrate the code between source code management systems
• Utilize internal IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS tooling and contribute improvements
• Identify opportunities for automation in tasks and software delivery.
All About You
• 8+ years as a full stack Java Developer with DevOps experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Microservices Development: Design, build, and maintain microservices using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• API Development: Develop robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring security and scalability.
• Cloud-Native Services: Utilize cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Lambda, ECS) for application deployment.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• DevOps Integration: Integrate DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• GitHub Management: Manage GitHub Enterprise, including user permissions and automation of policies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to implement enterprise-wide security and governance policies.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Java, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot; familiarity with additional backend technologies (Python, JavaScript/Node.js) is a plus.
• API Standards: Strong understanding of API documentation standards (Swagger, OpenAPI) and authentication methods (OAuth, OIDC, JWT, RBAC).
• Code Quality: Solid experience in writing clean, maintainable code and implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Security Knowledge: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience with GitHub Advanced Security features.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Implementation experience working on AWS Cloud (or Azure), Operating System such as Linux (maintenance and upgrade), Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub/BitBucket, JForg, Docker, Ansible (or similar example Puppet), CI/CD Pipeline, Environment Automation, Bash/Shell scripting

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
