Position Overview
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a drive for excellence, and a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement.
ResponsibilitiesBring innovative technology ideas to the teamContribute to system design and engage in design discussions within the teamIdentify skill gaps within the team and drive efforts to fill those gapsIdentify opportunities for improvement and ways to automate or eliminate inefficienciesExhibit ownership of components or initiatives owned by the team, driving execution following Engineering Practices, Solutions, Quality, and collaborating with key stakeholdersContribute to technical discussions across the organization, driving results and business outcomesAct as Analysis commander for incidents, driving actions for improvements within and outside the teamTake on leadership roles like Scrum Master and Product Owner, driving engineering excellence and practicesAdhere to and contribute to the formation of best practices within the team and Autodesk, as well as industry best practicesUnderstand the platform-level impact of a change or solutionUse sound judgement and reasoning when evaluating a solution or problem, considering its impact, with minimal or no supervisionActively participate in long-term strategy discussions, contributing to goal setting and roadmapsProduce quality output with minimal oversightNetwork with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise

Minumum QualificationsStrong fundamental skills in software developmentStrong knowledge and command of key design principles and coding patternsProficiency in C#, .Net, and WPFFamiliarity with Git, Github, Jenkins, and JiraReceives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignmentsWell-versed in the language/technology being used

Preferred QualificationsDrive and passion to grow and excel individually as well as the productExhibit a deep sense of ownership and drive to excel in a fast-paced environment
