Job DescriptionWe are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who will help design and build our data management platform.

They have created, architected and pioneered numerous advancements in data enabling technologies, and delivered groundbreaking ideas which have shaped and transformed the storage industry.
What will you bring to DDN
5+ years development experience, with recent experience in Go, Python or C++Distributed systems engineering experience, with working knowledge of containers, key/value databases and timeseries dataA strong conceptual understanding of filesystems, block and object storageExperience with hardware management interfaces such as IPMI and Redfish are a plusAdvanced skill in Linux, including networking, filesystems and block storageExperience working with geographically distributed teamsDemonstrated results of innovative thinking and delivery
What you have achieved…
Experience developing REST API/CLIs for storage or computation resources managementA proven ability to own and deliver features in a fast paced environmentStrong testing skills to ensure new feature and regression coverageAbility to both operate and make progress independentlyExperience working on developer toolingDeep understanding of Storage Design Thinking (ideation, prototyping, testing, design frameworks and concept visualization)

Participate in the design and development of our Data Services and Software Defined Storage solutionConceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges and user scenariosWithin the Scrum model, participate in full product development lifecycle including planning, design, code, test, usability reviews, release and maintenanceDDN
