You are an experienced engineer that is passionate about

building great user experiencesor building enterprise grade systems for messagingor full-stack (both)

Passionate about new technologies, and ready to push the boundaries of what is achievable. Enthusiastic about working in the latest technologies and/or passionate about developing large scale server-side technologies for collaboration platforms supporting rich conversational experiences blended with Artificial Intelligence.

You are looking for challenges and opportunities.  You have the ability and desire to bring new ideas. You are a team player and will work with other experienced co-workers to help us evolve the technology stack to build modern and awesome conversational experience for our customers. You must possess a solid understanding of building amazing, performant and scalable user interfaces/servers with large scale data, an obsession with design aesthetics, and engineering excellence.

Build highly interactive applications that can scale with application complexityCreate tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers to build uponApply new technology and innovation to improve platform functionalityWrite high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and own the code from design to delivery.Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needsContribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suiteMentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 5+ years of software industry experience for bachelors.Significant experience designing and implementing highly interactive and high-volume applicationsExpertise in backend technologiesJava, Junit, REST, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS and associated frameworksJVM performance testing, optimization and garbage collectionRelational databases, SQL and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate   and frontend technologiesSolid JavaScript experience with React, AngularJS, Cycle.js, Vue, or other frontend frameworksCompetent in aspects of design, usability, cross-browser compatibility and accessibilityExperience in ML/Natural Language systems and Large Language Models, including their applications in conversational AI and natural language processing.Strong written and verbal communication
