Within the Azure platform, we in the Hardware Health Service team are tasked with designing, implementing, and operating globally scalable cloud service which captures millions of hardware metrics from the world-wide Azure’s hardware fleet, and helps predict and detect anomalies and failures with the aim of preventing such failures from causing a negative impact to Azure customer. We focus on creating solutions essential for our cloud service platforms while minimizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) and providing great customer experience despite hardware unreliability.
