Cimpress has created a new business called Cimpress Open whose mandate will be to excel at serving customers via third-party channels. Cimpress Open harnesses the power of our state of the art Mass Customization Platform to integrate with key partner businesses, leveraging the product breadth and scale advantages provided by Cimpress mass customization businesses.
The platform consists of modular, multi- tenant services, making it easy and fast to do things like introduce new products, reach customers, and track orders. Last year, Cimpress generated over $3B in revenue through customized print products, signage, apparel, packaging, and more. Cimpress Open has significant growth opportunities as it establishes a presence with digital design software partners and established ecommerce marketplace platforms.

This is a new team with significant flexibility to define the landscape of technology for solving business problems. The engineering team is an integral stakeholder in defining and building the product.
What you will do:
Customer first mindset. Collaborate with product managers to grasp business and product requirements effectively. Comprehend the framework and adequate tool ecosystem of the selected language to develop complete components independently. Efficiently generate and optimize code with minimum external aid. Utilize test-driven development techniques. Grasp various major language paradigms such as Abstraction and Functional Programming. Provide support for production systems, resolving incidents and conducting root cause analyses. Debug issues and maintain the software solution effectively. Recognize design patterns within code structures and apply design patterns with some level of assistance. Efficiently translate minor behavioral specifications into actionable tasks and code. Compose clean and maintainable code. Leverage existing functionalities beyond the immediate project scope. Comprehend the concepts of continuous integration and continuous delivery. Develop tests to verify the functionality of CI/CD pipelines. Understand concepts related to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test- Driven Development (TDD), performance testing, security testing, and smoke testing.

4-7 years of experience as a full-stack engineer, or similar role. Proficient in JavaScript, React, NodeJS and Typescript ecosystem. Exposure to a variety of JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as: Next.JS;React.JS and testing using Jest, Mocha.JS, Cucumber etc. Experience with cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred. Experience with using and building REST API services. Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum. Demonstrated experience building new, complex integrations from scratch.
Nice to have Skills:
Graphic design, print industry, or digital image processing exposure Understanding of the components of e-commerce Experience with containerized infrastructure (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate), CDNs (CloudFront), and CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks Familiarity with using key metrics, KPIs, and OKRs to define and measure goals
