 The Senior Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, resulting in high quality software.

In this role you will collaborate with business stakeholders and a close-knit agile team to architect, build, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our internal customers.  A deep appreciation for puns is strongly encouraged.

This Senior Software Engineer role will involve development of web applications, desktop applications, web services, and Office-based automation tools.  This will require extensive communication with other departments for understanding of business needs.  Project requirements can change regularly and the ability to adapt to these changes is critical.  Associates in this role will primarily work independently with minimal guidance.  A strong interest in the field is expected along with willingness to continue to improve your skills.

The Senior Software Engineer role will primarily be focused on VBA development and conversion. The majority of existing code was developed outside of IT and will require a passion for improving less-than-optimal code.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of development experience in: C# (ASP.NET Core, WPF), HTML, JavaScript, MS SQLGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; particularly Excel and AccessExperience in problem analysis and process documentationExperience working in cross-functional, collaborative teamsExcellent communication skills when problem-solving for end usersConfidence to ask questions and learn from failuresStrong ability to understand existing code and refactor when appropriateEagerness to learn and acquire new development skills as needs change5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applicationsMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$106,900 - $147,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
