What you'll do...

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, #1300, Bellevue, WA 98004

Duties: Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of user-friendly, intuitive web applications, ensuring high quality user interfaces and experiences. Work with frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate design concepts into functional frontend code. Collaborate across domains to provide solutions that help cross functional teams. Work on frontend feature development, from ideation to deployment, ensuring the successful implementation of user-facing functionality. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in frontend applications to ensure optimal loading times and responsiveness. Plan for feature scalability, considering future growth and usage patterns to ensure the feature remains efficient and effective. Implement security best practices to protect against common web vulnerabilities and ensure data privacy. Collaborate with project managers to estimate work efforts, meet project deadlines, and report on progress. Ensure web applications adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG) to make them inclusive and accessible to all users.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.

Skills required: Experience in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript with expertise in ReactJS. Experience translating design concepts to functional, pixel-perfect frontend interfaces. Experience with backend technologies to collaborate with backend developers for API integration. Experience in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests for frontend code. Experience with clean, maintainable code, with a focus on coding standards and code reviews. Experience with Agile and Scrum practices, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups. Experience optimizing frontend performance for improved loading times and responsiveness. Experience creating technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and API documentation. Experience collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and cross functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. Experience taking ownership of features, their development timeline, progress tracking and communicating updates to stakeholders. Experience contributing to all phases of the development life cycle and write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $108,000/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
