Job Description for SQL Developer:

Experience in data warehousing / reporting projectsProjects in Financial services and capital markets domain.Expertise in developing SQL Reports, Stored Proc, OptimizationExperience in developing SSRS reportsExperience in gathering business requirements and performing functional testing (BA skills)Excellent communication skills; including written and oral. The ability to communicate with users in comprehensible terms is crucialGood attitude and willingness to learn and be positive

 

Preferred qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA)6-12 years as SQL DeveloperAbility to collaborate effectively and work as part of team.Ability to work with minimum guidance.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Strong attention to detail.Understanding of Fund Accounting, Fund structure, Capital Flows, PnL Allocations across funds, Master Feeder Funds, Asset Classes (Bank Debts, Swaps, FI Investments) and Tax LotsPrior experience with Hedge fund or Accounting systemsKnowledge of SQL Query / Scripts/ FunctionsKnowledge of Unix Scripts / Python / or any scripting language
