The Indirect Tax team owns the global capability that powers the calculation and reporting of Sales Tax in the US, VAT in the UK, and other indirect taxes around the world. What you'll bring + 5+ years experience in designing and developing large-scale, consumer-facing web applicationsExperience with developing backend application using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot + Experience with developing frontend application using JavaScript and React + Experience with web services (REST or GraphQL). + Experience with Agile and Lean Software Development How you will lead + Full-stack design and implementation of the overall web architecture. + Working with a wide range of technologies + Helping the business to deliver great results and value for the customer . + Working cross-functionally with various disciplines including product management, UX, analytics, other products and/or teams to solve real customer problems + Gathering functional requirements, technical specifications, plan for testing and monitoring + Solving challenging programming, domain and architectural problems, with well architected and highly performant solutions + Owning the team’s services/infrastructure and supporting the domain, resolving defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, and production + Acting as the technical subject matter expert - mentoring fellow engineers and demonstrating technical expertise EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.
