Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, Experian is looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer who will develop and deliver direct-to-customer products on a cloud-native Java platform. You will work with other developers using the latest technologies and you will help design and implementing product features. This is a technical role requiring excellent coding skills. Responsibilities + You are a hands-on, active contributor as a member of software engineering teams focused on building API-based systems, delivering secure, efficient, and solutions in a bold timeframe. + You will develop scalable and reliable systems supporting consumer and data-centric products and services on an AWS cloud-based platform + Integrate 3rd Party and Internal API, async, and file-based services using CSV, JSON, or XML data + Contribute to deliverables from brainstorming through testing/validation and production operationalization + Contribute to design/architecture and collaborate with other team members + Diligently observe and maintain Standards for Regulatory Compliance and Information Security + Without fail deliver and maintain accurate, complete and current documentation + Hands-on collaboration on a team developing commercial software project in cloud native Java + Proficiency developing in server-side Java applications using mainstream frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Reactor-Core. + Current cloud technology experience with AWS (Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, MKS, Lambda, etc) + Acurrent working understanding of microservices, event-driven techniques, and data pipelines + Astrong proven proficiency in SQL and NoSQL-based data access and management + Familiarity with async messaging, logging, or queues, such as Kafka, NATS, SQS, and RabbitMQ. + Recent experience managing PII/secure/sensitive data + Familiarity with CI/CD process, testing frameworks, and practices (CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CLI, etc.) + You understand best design and software engineering practices, design principles and patterns, and unit testing. + Experience developing easily monitored at the system and business operations level + Experience building systems for financial services or tightly regulated businesses + Some experience in Mass-market retail online consumer product + Security and privacy compliance (GPDR, CCPA, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, etc.) experience + Familiarity with CI/CD process, testing frameworks, and practices (CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CLI, etc.) + Hands-on collaboration on a team developing commercial software project in cloud native Java + Current cloud technology experience with AWS (Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, MKS, Lambda, etc) + You understand best design and software engineering practices, design principles and patterns, and unit testing + 7+ years of software development experience building and testing applications with secure coding practices Benefits/Perks + Great compensation package and bonus plan + Core benefits including full medical, dental, vision, and matching 401K + Flexible schedule, ability to work remotely, hybrid, or in-office + Flexible time off, including volunteer time off, vacation, sick, and 12-paid holidays Additional Information Our uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
