Meet the Team
You will work with a dedicated QA team that delivers high quality Diagnostic images and tools for multiple Cisco products, including Cisco 800G Routers and Nexus 9K Series Data Center switches! This team covers both Software QA and automation tools development. We also assist the development team with setting up multiple dashboards and websites with functions for easy development and debugging with the goal of streamlining the formal manufacture release process. On this team you will have the chance to explore everything from the hardware component level to website development!
Your Impact
As a Senior Software Engineer (Automation Tools) on the Platform Engineering Diagnostics team, you will be passionate about website development and involved in regression infrastructure development.
Website development. Maintain existing extended Diagnostic QA infrastructure including Web interface; new feature/page development including front-end and back-end.Work closely with Diagnostic engineers on QA tool support, like regression and other automation tools in Python.Routine QA tasks including but not limited to: bug tracking, issue isolating, debug script creating, image building, system maintenance and more.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or in Computer Science or related field, and 5+ years of work experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, or Express.js for web development.3 + years of experience with Python scripting.2 + years of professional work experience within Software QA.Prior work experience using HTML and CSS to develop and style web interfaces.Preferred QualificationsFull Stack web development experience.Ability to proficiently code in any one of the scripting languages such as TCL or Perl.Extensive manual testing background.Understanding of Hardware components such as CPU, ASIC and MEM.Knowledge of Linux in user level.#WeAreCisco#WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
