Senior Software Engineer - Applications Service Excellence - Fusion SCM

Position Overview:

This role is designed for a seasoned techno-functional professional with extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Manufacturing (SCM) Cloud. As a key point of contact, you will collaborate closely with clients, implementation partners and Oracle teams to deliver effective solutions, offering guidance and exceptional customer service throughout their project lifecycle. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring a smooth transition to Oracle SCM Cloud, while also providing ongoing service throughout their cloud journey. 

You will need to proactively engage with multiple accounts and will be responsible for working with them & their implementation partners. You should be able to operate independently to deliver quality work for customer engagements.

Note: This role may need you to work on weekends and multiple shifts on rotation basis.

Key Responsibilities:

To address customer service technical requests at all stages of a customer's lifecycle through the Service Request (SR) system, Community forums, automation and documentation enhancements, and hands-on engagement with customers  To collaborate with other Oracle Teams critical to helping customers achieve their business goals. To serve as a techno-functional point of contact and deliver consumable solutions. To transform issues into product enhancement opportunities To troubleshoot performance issues, Integration issues and functional issues.

Academic Qualifications:

BTech, or MTech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Computers Engineering or MCA or MSc (Math/Physics/Chemistry) with experience in working with business applications. MBA (Operations/Systems) is a plus.

Experience:

7+ years of techno functional expertise in Fusion SCM implementations or Fusion Finance applications Hands-on expertise in Cloud SCM Integration. Detailed understanding of Oracle SCM Cloud configuration and architecture.

Desired Skills:

Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of integration and middleware solutions, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, FTP, and File-Based Data Import (FBDI). Hands-on expertise in Cloud SCM Integration with various modules/systems. Detailed understanding of Oracle SCM Cloud setup and architecture. Good understanding of Oracle Cloud Security and Integration Security. Knowledge of industry best practices and standards related to Cloud. DevOps experience with a focus on performance troubleshooting in customer environments and identifying root causes. Review root causes of performance issues and advise on improvements. Performance Optimization: Analyze the performance of Oracle SCM Cloud solutions implemented by customers and identify areas for improvement. Optimize configurations, tune integration flows, and enhance application design to improve performance. Investigate and resolve technical and integration issues, such as errors and performance bottlenecks. Additional Expertise: Hands-on expertise in Analytics, BICC, OTBI, and SQL optimization. Troubleshoot and manage all OIC integrations, VBCS, PCS & App Composer deployed across Fusion modules. Working knowledge of Python. Operations / DBA / DevOps / Dev Sec Ops experience (or equivalent) in managing enterprise business applications. Strong understanding of integration platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, TIBCO, etc., to troubleshoot issues in the middleware layer. Trace data issues through application layers, integration platform layer, database, and network. Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST Event Hub, WebLogic, Web services, and SOA. Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across all layers of infrastructure (Network, Middleware, application servers, and database) and skilled in using industry-standard tools and techniques. Knowledge of networks, database configuration, server configuration, Web Server optimization, load balancing hardware, SQL tuning, and so on. Expert functional knowledge of at least two Fusion Supply Chain Management applications. Expertise on OIC integrations and VBCS deployed across Fusion modules, BI/OTBI Reports, Dashboards Certifications: Oracle Cloud certification in one or two modules is preferred. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Certification or higher is required. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills. Experience in delivering enablement training, both in-person and virtually. 

Key Duties & Accountabilities:

Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Product Development, Global Application Service Excellence team and other teams to guide customers through ongoing implementation challenges. Engage with Oracle’s strategic customers and partners, representing Oracle products and services. Customer Service: Provide solution-related guidance to individual customers, addressing inquiries, and fostering strong client relationships. Knowledge Sharing: Publish best practice materials, including whitepapers, how-to guides, and best-in-class case studies of solutions and product usage. Pre-Release Testing: Participate in pre-release testing related to Supply Chain and Integration Flows.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Fusion pre-built integrations and implementations in key areas such as: Experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Costing modules, including Cost Management, Receipt Accounting, Landed Cost, and Supply Chain Financial Orchestration Proficiency in handling month-end closure and reconciliation issues related to costing. Strong knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA) configuration related to cost management and receipt accounting. Proficiency in configuring these flows.
