Senior Software Engineering Manager
What You Will Be Doing?
As a seasoned Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role within our dynamic Payments scrum team, spearheading the development of Payment products in the revolutionary EV technology . Your focus will be on crafting sophisticated cross-domain software services that underpin diverse User Payments workflows, leveraging the latest advancements in our technology stack.
You will collaborate with Product Owners and Managers from different teams, ensuring seamless integration of solutions geared towards enhancing the payment journey for our ChargePoint drivers. Your knack for analysis and your proactive problem-solving skills make you an invaluable self-starter in our mission.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint?
Within our cross-functional teams, you'll engage closely with product management, program managers, and engineering leads to craft detailed technical requirements. From there, you'll collaborate with engineering teams to formulate software designs and execute development plans.
In our fast-paced setting, you'll shepherd the product journey from its minimum viable state to global-scale maturity, ensuring alignment between requirements and implementation.
Your role extends beyond development; you'll serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert within the technical community, advocating for and championing engineering best practices.
Requirements
5+ years of experience building back-end software Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Good in CS fundamentals - data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis. Working experience with modern software architecture components (e.g. Distributed Systems, Containerization, Micro Services, etc.) Hands-on with Java, SpringBoot, and related technologies Working experience in one of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) Working experience with one of the popular databases Understanding of API’s first approach Knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI) Familiarity with Kubernetes and Prometheus is a plus “You BUILD it, and you OWN it” mindset.
