As a Sr. Software Engineer in the MFGDM team, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing key components of the MFGDM platform. Collaborating with teams across the globe, including the US, Canada, India, and China, you will work on building scalable, high-quality web applications and tools that drive Autodesk’s next-generation Design & Manufacturing Platform.
You will work in a hybrid environment from Pune, India, and report to the Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
Collaborate within a global MFGDM development group and work as part of a scrum team with 4-5 engineersContribute to customer/project requirements by working closely with team membersDesign, implement, validate, and deploy MFGDM modules, components, and servicesCollaborate with other scrum teams across geographies to ensure seamless integrationDevelop tools to enhance service quality, including resiliency analysis, performance monitoring, and automated testingApply best engineering practices in daily work and actively participate in global technical discussionsDrive initiatives from start to finish and encourage innovation across the teamTake ownership of key projects and contribute to Autodesk’s data strategyMinimum Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in TypeScript and Node.js/JavaScript developmentProven experience in building scalable, high-quality web-based applicationsFamiliarity with major JS frameworks such as React.js or similar technologiesStrong fundamentals and hands-on project experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.jsExposure to cloud project development is highly preferredWorking knowledge of AWS, Java, or database technologies is a plusThe Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Technology or Science-related fieldsWillingness to embrace challenges and step outside the comfort zone to growStrong collaboration and communication skills; a team playerExposure to best practices in scalable cloud-based developmentExperience in handling end-to-end projects in a global, collaborative environment#LI-Hybrid
