Meet the Team The Unified Computing Systems (UCS) team work on the Cisco UCS Rack Server, a high-density, compact server optimized for performance and efficiency, suitable for virtualization and bare-metal workloads. Managed by Cisco Intersight or UCS Manager, it enhances business agility with a full range of unified computing benefits. In our multifaceted, start-up-like environment, you'll engage in the complete software development cycle using agile methodologies, focusing on the design, development, testing, and deployment of UCS server platform Management Controller firmware and software tools. Your Impact * We develop new features for the UCS Servers Platform software, crucial to our Data Center strategy. * We work in a team that values communication, innovation, and customer success. * We craft, develop, test, and improve software throughout its lifecycle. * We write specifications, review code, and optimize performance. * We lead project priorities and meet deadlines. * We collaborate with product management to meet requirements. * We integrate and test features, resolving issues as needed. * We debug and fix complex software problems. * We find opportunities for product and technology improvements. Minimum Qualifications: We are looking for a Software Engineer who is good in the Embedded system background with 8+ Years of experience, * You should be good C, C++, and Python within Linux environments. * An experienced in Embedded Systems Programming, focusing on memory constraints in Unix environments, with knowledge of protocols such as TLS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, NFS, and SNMP. Strong understanding of security norms and eager to learn and address new security challenges, * Good skills in multithreading, socket programming, and shared memory. * Good debugging skills, including resolving memory issues. * Experienced in the architecture and design of complex systems.
