How you will make an impact as a Senior Software Engineer:Help evolve DEKA’s cloud platform as we expand to support new solutions and geographiesDesign and implement highly robust and scalable cloud infrastructuresSolve technical challenges while upholding high performance, quality, and cybersecurity standardsTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:B.S. in Computer Science or related disciplineHands on experience with orchestration, continuous integration, continuous deployment and operation of cloud hosted services including platform / application logging tools.Hands on experience in testing methodologies, and commitment to quality in a continuous operations.Solid understanding of distributed design for scalable solutions.5+ years hands on infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure5+ years experience developing services and interfaces using Golang, Java, PythonExpert in using Linux in hosted/containerized deploymentsStrong distributed system networking and debugging skillsDatabase design and development experience with NoSQL, SQL, and Time Series databasesDistributed messaging systems exposure: SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, etcProficient in writing detailed design specifications, diagrams, documentation, operating procedures, and test plans/test reportsExcellent communications skills, capable of working with cross functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management, in a professional manner.Skills you will need to be successful: Masters or 10 years equivalent, hands-on technology experience in large cloud environments with a focus on cybersecurity and reliability at scaleExperience with IoT devicesKubernetes deployment and operational experienceInfrastructure as Code experience: Terraform, HelmGoLang, Python development/ deployment experienceServerless Technologies experiencePII/PCI, HIPAA regulatory exposure
