Responsibilities

Design and implement components of the consent management framework Build privacy compliance reporting and data retention management features Contribute to the data certification framework with configurable data quality validation rules Help develop data lineage tracking capabilities with column-level granularity for sensitive data Build and maintain APIs for integrating data quality, privacy, and governance tools Implement data classification and privacy-preserving transformation pipelines Work cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and business teams Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on data best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years focused on data platforms Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java or Scala Experience working with microservices and data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Airflow, etc.) Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services, preferably AWS Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker) Understanding of data modeling and database design principles Knowledge of data governance concepts and basic understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA) AWS Certification is a plus (but not required)
