Position Description:
Uses Application Program Interface (API) development, microservices, and BPM process automation to, architect and develop multi-tier internet facing web and mobile applications. Builds Java web services and API solutions, SOA, RESTful services, XML/JSON, automation tools deployed via continuous delivery infrastructure -- Jenkins and Concourse in a cloud-based environment -- AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Azure. Works with API Design, Development, Microservices Architecture, HTTP based APIs, GraphQL, Networking, DevOps Toolkit Kubernetes, Rushhour, DataDog, Jenkins and Splunk to deliver the best omni-channel experience to customers. Deploys DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash and Docker. Works with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), building RESTful services, XML/JSON, BPM/BPO principals and service orchestration, Camunda and modern Application Servers to deliver personalized digital experience to customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Quality, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) building and maintaining Web applications using Angular, Javascript, and GraphQL in a wealth management domain.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Quality, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) building and maintaining Web applications using Angular, Javascript, and GraphQL in a wealth management domain.

Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and implementing on-premises and Cloud-based self-service Java Web applications according to business requirements and architecture standards using Amazon Web Service (AWS), REST, and SOAP APIs.
DE deploying and delivering on-premises and Cloud-based self-service Java Web applications, using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools – Jenkins and Artifactory.
DE designing and implementing modern front-end applications for delivering exceptional overall user experience using XML, JSON, and JavaScript programming languages, and using Bootstrap, Angular JS, and Angular frameworks.
