Position Description:
Architects and develops multi-tier internet facing web and mobile applications and APIs using Angular, NodeJS, Swift, and Kotlin. Writes high quality and efficient code to develop Android application using Jetpack compose, Material 3 and Kotalin. Tests Android applications using emulators and physical device, and executes unit testing, regression testing and end-to-end testing cases using Espresso and Python. Performs automation in the cloud (AWS or Azure) deployed via continuous delivery infrastructure using Jenkins and Concourse. Builds internet grade web apps on JS client Frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue. Designs APIs utilizing NestJS and Express on Node. Develops publicly available iOS apps using Swift 3/4 and/or Objective-C supported by RESTful web services. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing Android, iOS, Angular, or client/server applications.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing Android, iOS, Angular, or client/server applications.

Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing full stack development — building Web applications and highly scalable Web services for front and back-end applications using Angular/React, DROOLS, Java, Kotlin or Swift in a brokerage trading, research, or asset management environment.
DE researching the common component libraries – One App and One Data — and integrating the common component libraries with Android, iOS, or Angular platforms.
DE architecting, building, maintaining and testing enterprise-level activity tracking platforms for financial planning using automated testing tool Appium.
DE analyzing business requirements to develop Android-based asset management and status tracking systems for financial planning and advise solutions, using Kotlin or Jetpack Compose.
