The Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has experience developing frontend services, using tools and technologies such as React.js, Typescript and JavaScript.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
Creating highly available and scalable frontend applications Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for and implement improvements on projects Leverage customer insights/data to inform decisions, balancing value for the customer with other business goals Focusing on operational excellence (leaving things better than when you found them) Actively participating in sprint ceremonies like daily huddles, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective Engaging in code reviews and pair-programming Mentor, coach, upskill and knowledge-share with your teamWhat We’re Looking For
Experience developing mainly frontend applications with React.js, TypeScript and JavaScript Experience working to scale in an Agile Scrum environment Knowledge of cloud technologies (we use AWS) would be an advantage but not essentialWhat You Can Expect

Location: Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more.
We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where we normally spend a day or two in the office per week.
