Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

ISS STOXX is actively hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for Mumbai (Goregaon East) location.

Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Products team, you will help build and maintain ISS DataDesk, an advanced screening and analytics platform for environmental, social, and governance data. You will work closely with other development teams, product management, application management, and QA to build and ship software using the newest technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

Build high quality and well tested software for client facing products and internal toolsHelp define the data products architectureCollaborate with cross-functional engineering peers and product management to implement end-to-end solutionsKeep up-to-date on latest technologies and trendsAct as a mentor for less-experienced peers through your technical knowledge/leadership skills and advocate for technical excellence

Requirements:

BE/B-Tech degree in Computer Science or other engineering field5+ years of experience implementing large-scale systems in Java 8+, ReactJS, HTML5Strong object-oriented design skillsExpert knowledge of data structures and algorithmsDatabase experience, ideally SQL Server or PostgresExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to influence others while being open to change when needed.Experience with Kubernetes and Docker a plusExperience with functional languages a plus
