U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Cloud) (Multiple openings) in Columbus, OH.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Cloud) will be responsible for Developer Console product which will be central to end-to-end developer experience enabling our internal customers to discover, design, build and deploy applications and services in a seamless fashion, providing a direct impact to our developer facing products and improving developer experience and productivity. Specific job duties include the following:
Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodology and building various components of scalable enterprise applications;Designing, developing and modifying complex systems in accordance with engineering procedures using Java 1.8, Bootstrap, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript libraries, React JS, Angular, MySQL, NextJS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB;Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS and Backstage.io;Configuring GitLab pipeline job for cloud deployments;Being responsible for building scalable and resilient microservices, server-side backend and client libraries using REST and GraphQL interfaces;Conceptualizing, developing and analyzing engineering designs, specifications and Unit Testing/test plans for systems and advanced technology theory;Providing analysis and recommendations for external UI frameworks or libraries which could enhance and improve products;Using coding methods in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular to initiate or enhance GUI execution and functionality;Creating Front-End coding and design guidelines to be used throughout our applications using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Angular;Developing updates, corrections, or enhancements including Business Logic for User Interfaces in HTML and JavaScript;Developing applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Splunk, Jenkins;Researching and recommending new tools and technology frameworks that can drive innovation and differentiation of software.Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodology and building various components of scalable enterprise applications. 2) Designing, developing and modifying complex systems in accordance with engineering procedures using Java 1.8, Bootstrap, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript libraries, React JS, Angular, MySQL, NextJS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. 3) Being responsible for building scalable and resilient microservices, server-side backend and client libraries using REST and GraphQL interfaces. 4) Developing using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Splunk, Jenkins. 5) Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS and Backstage.io. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
