In this role, you will be contributing to the engineering development and execution of critical and strategic programs that enable our C4I&A product lines. You will participate in software engineering activities that design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software solutions for various communication systems products. This position will sit at our **Aguadilla, PR** location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as **hybrid** , with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. **What YOU will do:** + Software Development: Design, develop, and enhance software solutions for communication and cyber intelligence systems. + Integration and Testing: Integrate and test software in an Agile development environment. + Collaboration: Work directly with software engineers, project engineers, and supporting organizations to ensure successful software project execution. + Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including peers across C4I&A Engineering, industry partners, and third-party vendors, to ensure alignment and transparency. + Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. + Risk Management: Assist in managing project risks/issues and elevate them to upper management when appropriate. + Compliance: Ensure compliance with Collins development processes and standard work requirements. + Bids and Proposals: Participate in the development of engineering bids and proposals. **What YOU will learn:** + You will learn about our growing engineering team in Puerto Rico; What we do?
