About the Role This position performs software design — typically across multiple systems; mentors more-junior members of the team; and talks to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions. Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend systems using PHP and Laravel + Design and implement RESTful APIs for web applications + Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements + Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality + Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices + Integrate third-party services and APIs. Manage database schema changes and ensure data integrity using MySQL/PostgreSQL + Use version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration + Write and maintain unit and integration tests Requirements: + 6+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel framework + Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and query optimization + Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
