About the team

At HubSpot, we have been on an incredible journey building world class Marketing, Sales and Services products that help small and medium size businesses grow. The CRM product group is responsible for the core functionality that powers how 100,000+ HubSpot customers manage their businesses. Our teams work on the core interactions for the highest traffic pages within the HubSpot application while also providing a platform to other HubSpot product groups. Our goal is to enable our customers to use HubSpot as their single source of truth, powering the processes that will grow their businesses. We believe in solving for the customer first, and that if our customers are successful, we will be successful.

The HubSpot CRM is an ambitious and complex web-app built with ES6 Javascript, React, and GraphQL using Apollo. We have a strong culture of automated testing and are on a path to Continuous Deployment, leveraging the tools built by our world class Platform-as-a-Service and Frontend-as-a-Service teams. 

We’re looking for individuals that:

Are primarily happy spending their time writing JavaScript and TypeScript. We have a fantastic implementation of our Canvas design system, so engineers spend very little time writing custom CSS. Can partner with product and design to build a world-class, consumer grade user experience. Have the ability to break down and collaborate on complex problems and projects, and lead team members to successfully deliver the solution. Believe in owning their work, from development through to automated testing, deployment, alerting, and monitoring. Help others learn through code reviews, but also enjoy receiving feedback on their pull requests. Understand the value of building a diverse team, and are champions and upstanders for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives.

 



Cash compensation range: 186300-279500 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
