About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will lead advanced software development and implementation. You'll provide direct input to project plans and schedules, translating user requests into effective solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic direction and execute functional business plans. This role significantly contributes to driving the accomplishment of organizational objectives through complex research, design, and software development tasks.

Able to work in person 2 days per week and as needed
Bilingual: English and Spanish
Responsibilities
Performing complex research, design, and software development tasks within a software functional area or product line such as Lexis+ AI.
Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for complex system components.
Completing complex bug fixes and resolving technical issues as necessary.
Understanding and translating complex product requirements into software designs.
Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and conducting code reviews.
Designing and working with complex data models.
Keeping abreast of new technology developments and interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within a professional setting.
Exhibit expertise in object-oriented development languages like Java or .Net (C#). Experience in front-end technologies such as Angular or React is advantageous.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Kanban and Scrum) and test-driven development.
Be able to design and work with complex data models.
Have the ability to lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
Possess excellent organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills.
Be capable of prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various sizes and complexity.
