Position Overview

Autodesk's Platform team is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer (Java AWS) to join us in shaping the cloud data platform that powers millions of Autodesk users worldwide. Our ecosystem includes cloud services and web client components. Based in Pune, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement and reports to a Software Development Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

Contribute to all phases of software development: architecture, design, estimation, development, testing, and releaseDevelop, debug, and create automated tests for multiple programming assignmentsCollaborate with product owners, software architects, and engineers to iteratively transform high-level requirements into incremental product enhancementsEnhance processes and deliverables to improve team responsiveness to customer and organizational needsMonitor large-scale production applications and contribute to deployment, infrastructure design, and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience6+ years of production-level Java development experience with strong problem-solving skillsHands-on expertise with AWS technologies (e.g., SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda)Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot FrameworkExperience using Terraform for infrastructure as codeStrong knowledge of building scalable cloud systems, including REST service integrationsProficiency with design patterns and SaaS application monitoring at scaleExperience with multi-repo Git code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks (e.g., Blazemeter), shell scripting, and automated CI/CD pipelines
