About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or Related fieldExperienced in Prime Brokerage, Equities, Bonds, derivatives tradingDesign, develop and maintain high performance Java based applicationsOver 5 years of experience in Java Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, Batch), Hibernate, SQL, & Oracle.Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8 or later) Spring framework and RESTful APIsFamiliarity with Microservices architecture and cloud platformsHands-on experience with DevOps tools (Maven, Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, GItHub Actions)Have exposure to any of the below Experienced in Equities, Bonds, derivatives tradingExposure to Front office trading systemExposure to Prime BrokerageExperience in trade capture/clearing/settlementExperience in market connectivity and trading venuesExperience in capital market Risk & Margin systemExperience in Order flow, trade capture, reporting

Job location: Bangalore / Hyderabad Understanding of Agile methodologiesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical designExcellent communication and leadership skillsExperienced in leading technology transformations and application modernizationFamiliarity with front-end technologies (React/Angular/Javascript)Exposure to Kafka/Redis for real time data processing. Required to work in office as per organization’s In Office Adherence / Return To Office (RTO)
