Core Requirements

5+ years production code experience, including expert-level TypeScript/JavaScript.

Strong distributed systems experience at scale, with deep knowledge of modern web architecture and OS fundamentals (async programming, state management, networking, performance optimization)

Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers, and modern DevOps practices including CI/CD and microservices architecture

Experience with ML/AI system integration, including model serving, API optimization, and scalable inference deployment

 

Technical Skills & Experience

Experience designing high-availability distributed systems with focus on performance engineering, scalability, and reliability

Strong frontend development skills using modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)

Deep expertise in Node.js ecosystem, server-side frameworks (Express, NestJS, FastAPI), and API design patterns

Strong background in database architecture across SQL/NoSQL systems, including optimization and scaling strategies

Advanced knowledge of system observability, monitoring, and debugging in production environments

Experience with TypeScript type systems and backend testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)

 

Core Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices architecture

Build and maintain frontend applications, reusable component libraries, and technical documentation

Optimize system performance, reliability, and resource utilization

Lead architecture decisions and technical reviews for backend systems

Support production systems through on-call rotation and incident response
