WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Converse European Technology Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the technical management and optimization of multiple dropship accounts (marketplaces) across Europe. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable systems, integrating third-party platforms, and ensuring seamless operations across multiple e-commerce channels. This role requires a technical background in marketplace integration, middleware solutions, and automation, as well as experience in Agile methodologies. The role is based at Converse/Nike European Headquarters in Hilversum, operating in a hybrid work model. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON + Design, develop, and optimize software systems managing multiple dropship accounts across Europe. + Ensure seamless integration of third-party marketplaces (e.g., ASOS, Zalando) with Converse’s internal systems. + Automate workflows for order processing, inventory management, and data feeds (e.g., CSV via SFTP). + Monitor and enhance system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability. + Collaborate with stakeholders including middleware providers, fulfillment partners and cross-functional teams. + Lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, and drive process automation through PIM integration. + Ensure security and compliance with European e-commerce regulations, GDPR, and industry standards. WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You will collaborate with a variety of teams across Converse and Nike, including product managers, operations, customer support, middleware providers and fulfillment partners. You will also work closely with engineering teams to optimize system performance and ensure seamless integration across all platforms. WHAT YOU BRING + Software engineering experience, preferably in e-commerce or logistics. + Background in marketplace integrations and middleware solutions. + Expertise in REST APIs, CSV data processing, SFTP, and PIM systems. + Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, or C#) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash). + Familiarity with cloud platforms and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL). + Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and Agile leadership skills.
