This role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology.

We’re seeking highly motivated individuals to be part of the team designing cloud based technology stack intended for in-vehicle domain to enable APTIV Smart Vehicle Architecture®.

You’ll work with other Software Engineers and Architects to translate the product vision into features, providing technical expertise and assisting with research and architecture for in vehicle software.

Your Role

Involved in the evolution of the cloud based technologies(e.g. containerization, containers orchestration) to deploy it into future vehicle design

Ensure solution and operations reliability

Analyze and optimize technical and business processes

Design for security and compliance

Document work on a daily bases (i.e. UML diagrams, technical problems/solutions description)

Active participation in technical innovation and organization programs

Analyzing market and proposing technologies solving business use cases

Present materials and concepts to the team and technical leaders

Assure to follow existing standards and processes in daily work

Your Background

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree based on three or more years of work experience

Three or more years in virtualization environment with knowledge of containerization and software engineering

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud native core design principles (microservices, containers, pods, etc.),

Experience with containers solutions (docker, podman, containered, etc.),

Experience with lightweight container orchestration technologies,

Knowledge of service-oriented architectures,

Comfortable with Unix/Linux OS,

Programming skills with C/C++/RUST/Python/bash

Experience with CI/CD frameworks
