The VDURA Data Platform elevates data infrastructure with unprecedented levels of performance, durability, and simplicity to accelerate cutting-edge AI and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.   Position Overview  As a Senior Software  Engineer, you will be joining an incredibly talented Platform Team building and enhancing the VDURA Data Platform.  Your engineering contributions will be instrumental in expanding platform flexibility, scalability and durably.      Key Responsibilities  Apply software engineering best-practices in product design, development and delivery  Provide architecture guidance and direction to improve the platform stack  Collaborate with other software engineers throughout the software development lifecycle  Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the engineering organization     Required Qualifications  8+ years of user and/or kernel space software development on Linux-based platforms  Expertise in C/C++ and scripting languages  Expertise in Virtualization, Containerization and Orchestration  Proven experience working on distributed systems  Storage product development experience in Block, File and/or Object systems  Proven ability to work in both greenfield software projects and modernization of existing stacks   Preferred Qualifications  Development experience building storage platforms for AI/HPC workloads  Familiarity with Cloud architectures and experience with Cloud application development in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP  Infrastructure-as-Code development experience with Terraform or Ansible  Practical scripting experience with Python, Perl, and/or Bash  Knowledge of Storage performance tools and experience troubleshooting and optimizing system performance  Engineering experience with:  Storage – SAS, SATA, NVMe  Object and File Protocols – S3, SMB, NFS  Networking – Ethernet, InfiniBand, RDMA, TCP, UDP  Multicore – NUMA, memory management, caching  Kernel driver development  User mode driver development in SPDK and DPDK     VDURA Culture and Values  At VDURA, we’re committed to transforming data into the catalyst for groundbreaking human advancements. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location and internal equity within the company.
