 Robust Intelligence’s mission is to secure the AI transformation. The Robust Intelligence team joined Cisco through acquisition in fall 2024 to lead research and development of security and AI at Cisco. The team has deep expertise in AI and security and is an active contributor to cutting edge research and standards on AI and security. At Cisco, our mission is to build AI Security at Cisco scale as well as lead the next generation of AI infrastructure for disruptive security products across Cisco. 

About Robust Intelligence 

Robust Intelligence pioneered the category of AI Security and created the first platform for securing AI applications from supply chain, model vulnerabilities, and real time attacks. Funded by Sequoia and Tiger Global, Robust Intelligence customers include the world’s largest banking and financial institutions, HR and payroll services, fintech and financial software, technology and consumer electronics, insurance, consulting, travel, data centers and cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity as well as government agencies. The company was acquired by Cisco in 2024.

Your Impact 

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge AI defense platform to help our customers confidently deploy and manage AI systems.

• Ensure excellent user experience and platform reliability, with a focus on scalability, performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with other eng groups to drive platform enhancements and feature development, aligning with both product and engineer requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Cisco Security Business group to address the security challenges of AI systems. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 4 years or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in Software development, with a focus on building scalable SaaS applications

• Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python)

• Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Experience with API frameworks (e.g. swagger, OpenAPI, GraphQL) and service framework (e.g., Django, Spring)

Preferred Qualifications:

 • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective solutions.

• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining applications in AWS environment with cloud native solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Protobuf, GraphQL and Go.

• Prior experience in B2B enterprise software development and an understanding of the security field and risk management.
