We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our HORIZON Banking Solutions development team and help build the next generation of Community Banking solutions at FIS. About the team:

What you will be doing:
Hands-on experience in software development roles using RPGLE, CLLE, Java, Cobol, or other programming languages

3+ years of experience working on large-scale, client-facing, enterprise production software5+ years of experience using RPGLE, Free Format RPGLE, SQL, Embedded SQL, COBOL, JCL, CL, DDS, DDL, BMS, CICS, JES, HTML, CSS.Familiarity with C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic, SQL+, and Oracle PLSQL5+ years of RPG Development, including:Databases: DB2/400,Change Management: Implementer, Aldon.Version Control: Git.Extensive experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and industry standards.Recent experience leading or working on products from architectural design to production while setting and maintaining high standards of technical excellence and processesExperience working in an Agile environment where production code is delivered bi-monthlyWorking knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD and DevOpsStrong English communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and business team members

Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
• Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

What you will need:
• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations.
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
• A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with core banking systems.

• Experience working within a bank.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $99,830.00 - $167,700.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
