This challenging and interesting software engineering/development position is a chance to participate in the development and operation of a high-performance big data system, and join a longstanding, stable program consisting of a team of individuals using defined Agile software principles and practices. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll perform software requirements analysis, participate in research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of an operational big data system.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Demonstrated understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and applicationsProficient using modern C++ versions (C++11/14/17/20) in a Linux development environmentExperience with database technologies, and an understanding of SQL, ETL, indexing, and performanceIn-depth understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithmsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related technical field.Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required before starting on program.
