Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts. Acts as Technical lead of major projects within one area of a product. Frequently consults with customers in regard to future upgrades and products. Influences the technical direction for one area of a product. Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce new technology/knowledge into at least one area of a product and to our people. Provides high-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis. Provide problem resolution and technical leadership for the group. Possesses broad knowledge of internal operating systems, applications implications and customer areas. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Works without supervision on highly complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise. Extensive knowledge of the field.
**Job Description:**
This position is expanding and improving application security for the primary LCS products. Tasks include monitoring Threat and Risk analysis reviews, update LCS wide security processes/procedures, help implement new/updated processes/procedures and participate in cross organization discussions about security with the other business units. Other tasks include being able to run/automate - static analysis tools, software component analysis tools, fuzzing tools, and dynamic analysis tools. Must be able to write and maintain scripts to automate the tools and KPI reporting at both the product level and corporate level.
**Prerequisite & Essential Functions:**
+ Must have knowledge of Python, GitLab, basic security concepts
**Essential tasks include:**
+ Leading Threat and Risk analysis discussions, tracking actions and improving the process in general
+ Expanding of adoption of tools and automation of said tools
+ Expanding when/how communication of risks are communicated and development is responding accordingly
+ Expand Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Level 2 testing
+ Expand Fuzz testing
**Experience and Education:**
+ BS in Computer Science, Math or equivalent
+ 2-4 experience with Threat and risk analysis, security regulations/certifications

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
