Senior Software Engineer (Teamcenter)

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility:

Responsible for delivery of technical solution that spans SPLM product segments. Focus on Teamcenter implementation skills – server and client configurations and extensions.Works under the guidance of engineering manager to architect and develop solutions. Collaborate with Teamcenter functional experts to understand technical requirements and create high and low level design documents.Performs design and software programming for products and services (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. In addition to above: Performs the SDLC steps for complex projects. Performs the SDLC steps in the majority of areas of a product. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts.Acts as Technical lead of major projects within one area of a product. Influences the technical direction for one area of a product. Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce new technology/knowledge into at least one area of a product and to our people

Additional objectives of the position:Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and processes.Understanding cost implications of cloud solutions and optimizing resource utilization.Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and industry trends.Commitment to staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.Understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

Skills and Abilities Required:Must have 8+ years of experience with Teamcenter including large implementation at Automotive or A&D OEM Tier account. Previous development experience must demonstrate solid programming skills in C/C++, ITK and Active Workspace and demonstrate systems thinking in design of data model. Must have technical propensity to understand architecture for SPLM portfolio.Must have hands on development experience of low code platforms like Mendix and other modern database technologies.Good communication with emphasis on technical writing. Ability to manage expectations in highly matrixed organization. Must be excellent team player.Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.Understanding of cloud security principles, encryption, and vulnerability management

Qualifications:

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree highly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
